From Corium and Hera comes Cohera

Cohera is a word creation from the Latin word for leather "Corium" and "Hera," the Greek goddess of rebirth and wife of Zeus. The fusion of these terms represents the sensual and simultaneously aesthetic perception of leather and the rebirth of a high-quality material solution with diverse properties. Cohera thus stands for the design aspiration of the material worlds of Salamander Premium Solutions. Cohera is a versatile circular material solution based on high-quality leather scraps for a wide range of design product creations.

It must come from the heart if it is to touch the heart.

Colour by Poetry®

Colors have an intense, unconscious, and direct effect on the human psyche and body, triggering unique emotions. This knowledge has inspired us to develop a harmonious color concept for our material solutions. Based on our concept, you can effectively target and utilize emotions for your product design. All our colors have been meticulously developed, with the nuances carefully matched and classified. This is "Colour by Poetry®" inspired by Germany's greatest poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and his color theory developed in 1809, in which the "color wheel symbolizes the human mind and soul."

Even more than two centuries after its first publication, his description of the nature of colors is still highly relevant. In particular, his findings from years of research on color physiology and the effect of colors on humans still provide valuable insights for designers, graphic artists, and interior designers today. Goethe valued the results of his studies on color higher than those of his entire literary work.

The inscription in the "concentric and radial" fields is from Goethe's pen. In the inner ring, the following colors and their meanings are inscribed: violet - beautiful, orange - noble, yellow - good, green - useful, blue - common, violet - superfluous.

The six colors radiate into the outer ring so that four segments are involved with two colors each. These are assigned to the four areas of the human mind and soul: orange - reason, yellow/green - intellect, green/blue - sensuality, blue/violet - imagination.
